Microbial safety laminar airflow cabinet is intended for lowering the infection risk for operators working with dangerous or potentially dangerous microorganisms and for sample protection. Manufactured as a biosafety cabinet based on customers’ feedback. The laminar cabinet automatically maintains the laminar airflow speed required for necessary purity of the working area.
During the operation the air from the premise gets to the entry grill. In the section under the working area it is mixed with air just passed through the working area. This “exhaust” air is sucked through a fan into the back part of the laminar cabinet where about 70% of the air is recycled through the inlet HEPA-filter and gets back to the working area. The air exiting the laminar cabinet is purified at the output HEPA-filter.
Special features of ODO BELAKVILON laminar cabinets:
- four modifications with different width of the working area: 90, 120, 150, and 180 cm;
- easy to use and maintain;
- comfortable atmosphere for effective work: diffused light >900 lx in the working are;
- stable air barrier and continuous down flow in the working area ensure maximum protection for the personnel and the sample. These conditions are continuously controlled by the automatics;
- daylight LEDs are located out of the working area which ensures safe replacement;
- face shield is made of 6-mm tempered glass, inclined 10°, with 20 cm (16 to 25 cm are available) working height of ascent;
- front working glass without an edge, which allows free observation of the working process;
- stock availability of all the spare parts (including metal panels of the housing and the glass).
Working area design: made of stainless steel, tolerant to disinfectants, concave working surface, easy to clean. Parts made of plastic are also tolerant to disinfectants. External housing: polymer powder coated steel.
