LTR-24 laboratory reductase incubator (RF) is a thermostat for performing reductase tests, sample thermostatting, fat analysis. These operations help to comply with standards of testing procedures in food production, agricultural, veterinary and medical industries. The thermostat is not a measuring instrument, so it does not require the state calibration.
Consists of a corrosion-proof bath and a control unit with a timer and an electric switch. A heating element and a temperature controller are located near the bath bottom. A rack for test tubes and butyrometers (24 pieces, 13 to 24 mm in diameter) is located in the middle of the bath. The temperature required is set on the control unit. The actual temperature value is displayed on the screen. A special lid covers the apparatus from above. Power supply: the thermostat requires 220 V network.
The following rules should be observed for normal operation of the thermostat:
- place the apparatus on a horizontal surface in a room with a natural ventilation, do not expose to impacts, vibration or magnetic and electric fields;
- do not plug in the device without a grounding terminal or without water in the bath (not less than 20 mm above temperature controller);
- do not fill the bath with flammable liquids;
- protect from direct sunlight and heat sources;
- personnel working with the thermostat must be instructed on safety measures.
